Pearl Healthcare are looking for: A Registered Manager at Sunnydale Residential Home in Douglas, Isle of Man.
Salary: Competitive £45-£55K per annum.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager with a minimum of 2 years experience to oversee the daily operations of our established residential care home in the Isle of Man. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of care and safety are maintained, while creating a positive and welcoming environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring they are trained, supported, and motivated.
Ensure compliance with all regulations, including those set out by the Isle of Man Government and Registration & Inspection.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and that their needs are met.
Develop and implement care plans, reviewing them regularly with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Manage the budget for the care home, ensuring that financial and operational targets are met.
Ensure all safeguarding and health and safety protocols are followed and that any concerns are dealt with promptly.
Promote and maintain a positive, inclusive culture where both residents and staff are valued.
Develop and maintain relationships with families, external professionals, and local authorities.
Key Requirements:
Must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a residential or nursing care setting.
Strong knowledge of Registration and Inspection/Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Understanding of financial management and budgeting.
