Our client seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver to deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Process day-to-day bills and supplier invoices, and general ledger postings. Liaise with other team members around day-to-day tasks, including billing, payments, invoice processing. Be responsible for data entry for financial transactions, ensuring they are in the correct format and compliant with client requirements. Ensure accurate application of the Advocates Accounts rules & FSA rules in relation to client money. Assist with month and year end close down. Respond to internal and external inquires related to payments and invoices. Assist the Head of Finance / Senior Finance Manager with the set-up and operation of the accounting system. Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Head of Finance and the Senior Accounts Manager. Key Skills & Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' relevant administrative experience, ideally within a professional services environment. High attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently, problem solve and manage competing priorities effectively.
