We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping & Laundry Manager to lead our housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, service standards and guest satisfaction across our 4* hotel.
The Role:
You will oversee daily housekeeping and laundry functions, manage and develop the team, uphold high-quality standards, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene requirements. The role requires strong leadership, operational efficiency, and the ability to foster a positive, high-performing team culture that reflects the Comis values.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train and manage housekeeping and laundry teams.
Oversee room cleaning, public areas, and all laundry operations.
Conduct inspections and drive quality improvements.
Manage budgets, stock, and resources effectively.
Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Maintain records, schedules, KPIs and departmental reports.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
About You:
3–5 years’ experience in housekeeping/laundry management (min. 2 years at managerial level).
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering 4* standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and health & safety regulations.
Proficient in housekeeping systems, PMS and MS Office.
Outstanding people skills and a passion for motivating and mentoring teams.
Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Flexible and resilient with a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Eligible to work in the Isle of Man.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week across 5 days. Flexibility, including occasional weekends and additional hours during events, is required.
