The In-House Counsel / Legal Director will serve as a trusted legal and strategic advisor to the executive team, leading and overseeing all legal matters across the business units, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, intellectual property, and complex commercial agreements. The position requires a commercially minded lawyer who can balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, regulated, gaming environment. Primary Responsibilities: M&A and Corporate Transactions. Intellectual Property. Commercial Agreements. Corporate Structuring and Governance. Regulatory and Risk Management. Leadership and Business Partnership.
Experience: Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant experience in M&A and corporate transactions, with strong background in intellectual property and complex commercial contracting. Prior experience in eGaming, gaming, technology, digital entertainment, or another highly regulated, IP-driven industry is strongly preferred. The business is currently in an exploratory phase in respect of this role and is interested in speaking to any interested parties on a confidential basis to discuss this further.
