A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join our coastal kitchen team at The Boatyard in Peel, where the harbour sits on our doorstep and fresh Manx seafood and local produce shape our daily menus. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, seasonally led dishes, oversee prep and stock control, maintain exceptional standards of presentation, lead the brigade in the Head Chef’s absence, and ensure all food safety and hygiene procedures are upheld. We’re seeking someone with strong organisational skills, proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen, confidence working with fresh fish and shellfish, the ability to train and motivate junior staff, and a genuine passion for local, sustainable cooking.
