Head of Compliance

CM Trust is a fiduciary service provider licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (‘IOMFSA’), providing trust and company services to clients all over the world. CM Partners is a medium sized, independent, Chartered Accountancy practice based in Douglas in the Isle of Man. We have an opportunity for a Head of Compliance to join our busy general accountancy practice and fiduciary service provider. We are regulated by the IOMFSA and the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW).

Essential Experience:
Applicants should hold a professional qualification in compliance, have IOMFSA approval to act as HOC and have longstanding experience as a HOC in the TCSP industry.
Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of the Financial Services Rule Book and the AML/CFT Code, with extensive experience in the TCSP industry. Have a proven track record of developing and implementing Compliance Monitoring Plans and is an effective people leader who ensures tasks are completed while remaining actively involved in day-to-day compliance operations. Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, and will have the ability to meet strict deadlines. Will take ownership of responsibilities and work methodically with strong attention to detail.
