Position: Full Time.
Work Days: Five-day working week, averaging 40–50 hours per week.
Salary: Competitive (negotiable for the right candidate).
Live in: Separate 2-bedroom self-contained accommodation.
Location: Isle of Man.

We are seeking an experienced and child-focused Nanny / Housekeeper to join a substantial private estate on the Isle of Man. This is the family’s full-time residence, set within extensive grounds and supported by an established outdoor team. The household is busy, friendly and informal, with five children aged between 6 and 17. We are looking for a positive, organised and energetic Nanny / Housekeeper who genuinely enjoys working with school-age children and can become a supportive presence within the family. You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced full-time Housekeeper who will guide you through the household systems and routines. This is a collaborative and well-structured working environment.
Job Description. School runs and driving duties. Supporting morning and after-school routines. Accompanying children to activities, sports and appointments. Supervising homework and encouraging independence. Preparing lunches and snacks for school. Light cooking for the children and occasionally the family (simple, family-style meals – not formal cooking). Assisting with bedtime routines when required. Ad hoc childcare during school holidays. Helping to keep children’s bedrooms, play areas and family spaces organised. Children’s laundry. General housekeeping to support the existing Housekeeper.
Candidate Requirements. Proven experience as a Nanny or Nanny / Housekeeper in a private household. Confident caring for multiple school-age children. Full clean driving licence essential. Warm, calm and structured approach. Energetic and organised with good initiative. Happy working within a team environment. Discreet and professional. Excellent, checkable references required Days of Work, Accommodation & Benefits. Live-in role with separate 2-bedroom self-contained accommodation. Accommodation not suitable for partners or dependants. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Five-day working week, averaging 40–50 hours. Two consecutive days off per week. Flexibility to swap days off essential. Car provided for use whilst on duty (driving is required).
