We are looking for an experienced, values?driven Service Manager to lead our Family Support and Supervised Contact services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to combine strong operational leadership with the freedom to think creatively, test new ideas, and shape how services grow and improve. You will oversee two closely connected services, supporting teams to deliver safe, high?quality, child?centred practice, while also creating the conditions for staff to thrive.
We’re looking for a Service Manager who believes great outcomes for families start with healthy teams, trust and creativity. In our service, great ideas don’t need permission! You will be trusted, supported and empowered to lead with innovative approaches.
You’ll lead our Family Support and Supervised Contact services in an organisation known for its positive culture, flexible working and flat structure – where people are encouraged to think differently, test new ideas and speak up.

Main Responsibilities:
Leading and developing two services to deliver safe, effective and compassionate support to children and families.
Creating a team culture where staff feel confident, supported and empowered.
Supporting innovation and continuous improvement, helping new ideas to flourish into practice.
Working collaboratively with commissioners, partners and senior colleagues.
Ensuring strong governance, safeguarding, quality assurance and performance oversight.
Balancing operational delivery with strategic thinking and service development.

Experience of managing services within family support, supervised contact, safeguarding or related fields.
A leadership style that is relational, inclusive and strengths?based.
Confidence to work autonomously, while valuing collaboration and shared decision?making.
Curiosity, creativity and the courage to think beyond ‘how things have always been done’.
A commitment to reflective practice, learning and continuous improvement.
