Optical Assistant – Holmes and Davidson Opticians (Douglas, Isle of Man).
Holmes and Davidson Opticians are seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to join our premium independent practice in Douglas.
We are not a volume-driven environment — we specialise in delivering exceptional eyewear and an outstanding client experience to a discerning clientele.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering a high-end dispensing experience, guiding clients through frame and lens selection, and ensuring every patient leaves with eyewear that is both visually and technically perfect.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience working as an Optical Assistant in an opticians.
Confident dispensing of single vision and varifocal lenses.
Strong understanding of frame styling and facial aesthetics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
