Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas, while managing laundry operations efficiently. Duties:
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces following established standards for hygiene and presentation.
Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care.
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are cleaned to high standards.
Assist with dry cleaning services when required, ensuring delicate fabrics are handled appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and laundry facilities to promote safety and efficiency.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials in guest rooms and common areas.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Experience:
Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with laundry operations including washing machines, dryers, ironing equipment, and dry cleaning processes is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry services is a plus.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. This role requires extra hours and weekend work when events are held.
