Claims Administrator (Part-Time).
Location: Office-based – Douglas, Isle of Man.
Hours: 20 hours per week (morning hours).
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time.
Sector: General Insurance.

We are seeking an experienced Claims Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to our Clients. This is a part time, office based support role, working largely independently, administering claims across both Personal Lines and Commercial insurance.
The role is worked across five days per week, with flexibility on start and finish times to suit the successful candidate, and is ideal for someone with proven insurance experience seeking consistent, structured part-time hours.
You will play a key role in the efficient and compliant administration of insurance claims, ensuring high standards of accuracy, service and regulatory compliance in line with Isle of Man requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Administering claims across Personal Lines and Commercial insurance policies.
Logging new claims accurately and maintaining detailed records on internal systems.
Processing claims-related documentation and correspondence in a timely and confidential manner.
Liaising with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters, brokers and third parties.
Monitoring claims progress and following up on outstanding actions.
Ensuring all claims are handled in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Maintaining accurate audit trails and supporting claims reporting as required.
Essential:
Previous insurance experience is essential.
Demonstrable experience working with Personal Lines and Commercial insurance claims.
Good understanding of insurance claims processes.
Experience working in a regulated or compliance-led environment.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
Competent IT skills, including experience with insurance or claims systems.
Desirable:
Experience within an Isle of Man regulated insurance environment.
Isle of Man Worker Status.
