Team Member (Mon - Fri daytime)

Taste Buds has been established for 40 years and provides delicious, high-quality home cooked fresh foods, coffee and outside catering services from our friendly, family run Douglas Sandwich Bar, Kitchen and Shop.

We are looking for an additional person to join our team who is bright, loves cooking and has a cheerful personality.

The job would be ideal for someone who is an experienced home cook who enjoys helping people and likes variety in their work. If this sounds like you, join us and become part of the family.

This is a mixed role involving our kitchen and buffet food preparation, serving our lovely customers at lunchtimes and clearing after service. Working hours to be mutually agreed will be around 6.30 am to 2.45 pm (Mon – Fri), approx. 40 hours p.w. This is a Monday – Friday permanent role (i.e. non-seasonal & no split shifts).

An excellent standard and understanding of verbal and written English is required to enable instructions from customers to be completed accurately. We would welcome applications from experienced individuals, however we can also train you in any areas required.

Our business is geared to the corporate market and therefore our food must always go out on time, which means we need 100% reliability with your time keeping and attendance. You’ll be smart and clean in your appearance. Please do not apply if your time keeping or attendance will not be 100% reliable due to personal or health reasons.
