A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at The Boatyard in Peel, where our menus celebrate fresh Manx seafood, seasonal coastal produce and relaxed, ingredient?led cooking. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in the smooth running of daily service, lead the team in their absence, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, manage prep, ordering and stock control, and ensure all food safety and hygiene procedures are followed. We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, confidence working with fresh fish and shellfish, proven experience in a quality?led kitchen, the ability to train and support junior staff, and a genuine passion for local, sustainable produce. This is a full?time role averaging 45 hours per week, with working patterns varying in line with service and seasonal demand.
