Job Purpose:

The Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting the finance department with day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting tasks. This role ensures accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Working within our busy and exciting team you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records for the plan.com group of companies. Whilst experience in a similar role would be advantageous, this is not essential as training will be given.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance of accurate and up to date accounting records.
Management of the accounts email inboxes.
Preparation and processing of payment runs, including associated banking tasks.
Purchase ledger maintenance, including the accurate inputting and verification of invoices.
General bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
Preparation of management accounts.
Processing employee expense claims and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Providing support to internal departments by responding to payment and finance-related queries.
Supporting the wider Finance Team in delivering the financial requirements of the business.
Any other ad hoc duties as required by the business.
