We’re seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop a long-term career in residential housebuilding and construction. Working closely with our Head of Commercial, you will support the commercial delivery of multiple housing developments, assisting with subcontract procurement, material purchasing, cost management, valuations, variations, and final accounts. You will play an important role in helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, commercially successfully, and to the highest standards, while gaining valuable experience across a range of residential developments.
We're looking for a motivated and organised individual with an HNC/HND, or similar qualification, in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Experience within the construction industry, ideally residential housebuilding, would be advantageous, along with strong commercial awareness, numerical ability, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and demonstrate a collaborative and respectful approach, with the ability to challenge constructively, communicate tactfully, and maintain positive working relationships. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a full driving licence are essential.
