DELIVERY DRIVER & PACKAGING ASSISTANT
NOA Bakehouse | Isle of Man 5am to 1pm | 30 to 40 hours per week | Includes Saturday
We’re looking for a Delivery Driver & Packaging Assistant to join the early doors crew at NOA.
While most of the Island is still waking up, you’ll be helping package bread and bakery goods fresh from the ovens, picking the morning orders and getting them out to our wholesale customers and retailers across the Island. Then comes the pretty dreamy bit.
Radio on. Van loaded. Fresh bread in the back. Some of the best driving routes on the Island ahead of you.
Not a bad way to spend a morning.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll start the day at the bakery, working with the team to package freshly baked products and pick the morning’s orders.
Every day is slightly different. Orders change, customers need different things and sometimes the delivery route needs a rethink before you head out.
It’s a proper team effort to get everything out of the door on time, so you’ll need to be switched on, upbeat and happy to muck in.
Once the van is loaded, you’ll deliver to our wholesale customers and retailers across the Island, making sure the right things get to the right people and representing NOA brilliantly while you’re out and about.
And when the bakery needs an extra pair of hands, everyone gets involved.
That might mean helping clean down the bakery, refreshing the leaven, packing a few more loaves or just jumping onto whatever needs doing to get the team over the line.
No egos. Just good people getting it done together.
WHO WE’RE AFTER
We’re looking for someone who: is upbeat, friendly and a genuinely great team player, is reliable and ready to go at 5am, enjoys driving and is confident out on the Island’s roads, is organised and can adapt when orders or routes change and takes pride in getting the details right . Someone who is happy to get stuck in wherever the team needs help, cares about great food, local businesses and what NOA is all about, understands that delivering our products means representing NOA out in the community and has a full valid driving licence.
THE HOURS
5am to 1pm, including Saturday. Around 30 to 40 hours per week depending on the rota. Yes, it’s an early alarm.
But you’ll also get quiet roads, some pretty epic Manx sunrises, the radio for company and a van that smells like freshly baked bread.
And by early afternoon, your working day is done.
WHY NOA?
We’re about good bread, good ingredients and good people.
We care about real food, doing things properly, supporting local and building a business that has a positive impact on the Island we call home.
This role is a big part of that.
