JUNIOR BAKER NOA Bakehouse | Isle of Man - 5am to 1pm | 5 days a week | Includes Saturday

We’re looking for a Junior Baker to join the crew at NOA. This is a hands on bakery role for someone who loves real food, doesn’t mind an early start and wants to properly learn the craft of making great bread.

You’ll be working across the bakery, getting stuck into the mixing room, helping shape our breads, packaging the good stuff and picking orders ready to head out to our wholesale customers across the Island.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll learn to run the mixing room and mixer, working with our doughs and understanding what makes them tick.

You’ll help divide and shape bread, support the bakers through production, and make sure everything is packed, picked and ready for our wholesale customers.

It’s physical, fast paced work. There’s flour involved. Quite a lot of it.

WHO WE’RE AFTER
You don’t need to arrive knowing everything about baking. Attitude matters more.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and takes pride in doing things properly, is a brilliant team player and is reliable, especially when the alarm goes off early.

You’ll care about real food made from real ingredients, share our belief in food without unnecessary ultra processed nonsense, and think local matters and care about where food comes from.

You’ll be ethically minded and want to work somewhere that gives a damn, and you’ll enjoy working with your hands and being part of a busy production team.

THE HOURS
5am to 1pm, five days a week, including Saturday.

Yep, 5am is early.

But there’s something pretty good about making bread while most of the Island is still asleep, and finishing your working day at 1pm isn’t bad either.

WHY NOA? We’re about good bread, good ingredients and good people.

We care about making food properly, supporting local wherever we can and building a food business that has a positive impact on the place we call home.

No unnecessary UPFs. No shortcuts for the sake of it. Just proper food made by people who care.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, come bake with us.

If you want to apply, please send your up to date CV to pippa@noabakehouse.com.
