This seasonal full time position is based across our Strand Street and Castle Street stores in Douglas and will end on 31st December 2026. The role involves providing excellent customer service during the busy Christmas trading period. Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, replenishing stock, merchandising and maintaining store presentation, operating electronic tills and promoting products. Applicants should be friendly, reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team in a busy retail environment. Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position is 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends on a rota basis. Additional hours are required during the Christmas trading period, including late night shopping, earlier starts and extended Sunday opening hours.
