We are looking for an experienced, caring and reliable Nanny to join a busy and welcoming family on the Isle of Man.
The family has six children, five of whom are school-aged and attend school during the day. The youngest child is 2 years old and is at home during the day, so the role will primarily involve caring for the youngest child during school hours, alongside supporting the wider family routine before and after school.
Our preferred working arrangement is Monday to Friday, approximately 7am–7pm, on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis. This provides the successful candidate with every alternate week away from work.
However, we appreciate that experienced childcare professionals are in high demand and are happy to consider alternative working patterns or hours for the right candidate. We would therefore encourage applicants to get in touch even if they are unable to accommodate the preferred schedule.
Responsibilities will include providing attentive and engaging care for the youngest child, supporting morning and after-school routines, preparing children's meals and snacks where required, helping with children's laundry and organisation, assisting with school and activity arrangements, and generally helping to ensure the children's day-to-day routines run smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is warm, patient and confident caring for children of different ages. The successful candidate should be organised, dependable and proactive, with the ability to use their own initiative while working as part of a busy family household.
Previous professional childcare or nannying experience would be highly desirable. Relevant childcare qualifications and paediatric first-aid training would also be advantageous.
A full driving licence would be beneficial due to the nature of the role.
