Site Manager & Client Liaison (Drilling Company)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager & Client Liaison to join our drilling team, offering flexible working hours to meet contract deadlines. This dynamic role that blends on-site management with client-facing responsibilities, we are looking for someone with strong client engagement skills, experience in drilling and in site management, and the ability to coordinate multiple resources for large-scale projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring all necessary coordination with heat exchange plumbers is in place if necessary.
- Documentation Management: Ensure clients obtain all necessary surveys, planning permits, and geological reports for project initiation. Prepare quotations in line with the findings in the reports.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess access conditions, take photographs, and make recommendations for mobilisation and planning.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the availability of stock and supplies on the Island, ensuring materials are readily available for project needs.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the UK team to allocate resources, assign materials, and manage logistics for each project.
- Supervision of Construction Teams: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Health and Safety Management: Carry out risk assessments for management and monitor adherence to policy.
- Scheduling & Productivity: Establish and monitor work schedules to meet project productivity goals.
- Problem-Solving & Liaison: Act as the key contact to resolve operational issues by liaising with managers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Staffing & Resource Management: Recommend staffing and material requirements to ensure productivity targets are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role with construction and drilling.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with documentation processes for permits, surveys and geological reporting.
- Ability to travel to sites as required and manage flexible working hours to meet project deadlines.
Location: Flexible, with site visits required.
Working Hours: Flexible, as per contract demands.
Salary: Up to £27,000 based on experience.
