Pharmacy Technician required to supervise practice reception teams in sorting and streaming general prescription requests so as to allow GPs to review the more clinically complex requests. To provide leadership for medicines optimisation, safe repeat prescribing systems and timely monitoring and management of high-risk medicines and to develop relationships with pharmacies within the locality to support the integration of the pharmacy team across health and social care including primary care, community pharmacy, secondary care and mental health. The Pharmacy Technician will be an identified interface between pharmacies, care homes and service users to aid communication and efficiency.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
