Day-to-day tasks include unloading outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles, selecting products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area and load merchandise.
You will unload stock from delivery vehicles, transport to and store in designated warehouse positions and deliver complete orders to island-wide sites.
Responsibilities include loading and unloading delivery vehicles, accepting delivery of inventory, counting and confirming inventory, inspecting inventory for damage and faults, communicating errors to relevant parties, marking and labelling stock, storing inventory in an accessible manner, loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
Part of the role involves being office/shop floor based (with appropriate training), where the successful candidate will deal with: Customers in person & over the phone dealing with general enquiries. Showing customers the range of products available. Taking down accurate details to book in measuring appointments. Preparing all sales documentation including invoices, deposits, supplier orders and customer orders.
