Isle of Man Post Office is seeking to recruit a temporary (12 months) full-time Post Person at our Northern Delivery Office working 42 hours per week, 6 days per week.
Flexibility regarding days of attendance is essential - to include Sundays.
Full training will be offered to the successful candidate.
We are looking for someone who has: Good communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility. Self-motivation. Shows initiative. Ability to work quickly and accurately. The possession of a full manual driving licence is essential (not on R plates).
The role involves: Driving an IOMPO vehicle. Loading and unloading vehicles. Lifting and transporting mail items up to 30kg. Collecting, sorting, preparing and delivering mail. Use of a PDA to scan items accurately.
Hourly rate: £13.67
