Working for Van Mossel Jacksons within the BDC Department we are looking for an competent individual who will answer inbound calls from customers to make customer service bookings and make outbound calls to secure service bookings from our Business Development Centre.
Main job, tasks and responsibilities:
Answer and make calls and respond to emails.
Check and update existing customer information to produce an accurate data base.
Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email.
Provide customer with product and service information using available resources.
Route calls to appropriate departments.
Follow up customer calls where necessary.
Identify and escalate priority issues.
Identify customer complaints and escalate.
Answer live web chat
Education and experience:
Proficient in relevant computer applications.
Some experience in call centre or customer service environment preferred.
Good data entry typing skills.
Some knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
A good clear speaking voice.
Key competencies:
Verbal and written communication skills.
Good listening and negotiation skills.
Identifying problems, knowing when to escalate.
Customer service orientation.
Organisational skills with attention to detail.
Adaptability and resilience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch, however must be flexible as might change.
