Engagement Officer

Our client is seeking a temporary Engagement Officer to join their team until the end of October. Are you a clear and confident communicator, with experience of managing social media platforms, producing written communications, and an eye for design? Key Responsibilities: Owning the website and social media accounts, being responsible for the creation and maintenance of content. Own the content and design of the SharePoint site and maximise its use as an internal communication channel. Lead on the organisation and delivery of an event. Coordinating with subject matter experts to prepare written material, press releases, articles, speaking notes, briefings and social media communications. Manage the branding guidelines and advise on ways in which stakeholder engagement can be improved through the design of the content. Lead on event outreach with community groups, schools and other organisations to deliver presentations that educate and inform the general public. Key Skills & Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in communications, media or a related field. Understanding of Website Content Management Systems and social media as well as design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva. Experience in the design and maintenance of SharePoint sites would be desirable.Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Competent written and verbal communication skills. Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision. Encourages innovation and supports change, work collaboratively with colleagues. Has positive energy and drive.
