Home care worker

An opportunity to join our small, friendly team of professional carers providing care and support to people, primarily older adults, living in their own homes.
The role typically includes support with personal hygiene, hydration and nutrition as well as handling and giving medication, assisting clients to access appointments and social activities, light housework and shopping duties.
Applicants must be able to work as part of a team as well as effectively manage the needs of their own clients when on duty. Reliability and an attentive caring nature are essential. Car drivers only please as this is a community based role. An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. Training will be provided in house via our own training center.
Hours to be discussed, however our staff normally have one day off every weekend. Uniform provided, paid supervision and training sessions and we always have lovely food and a raffle at our paid staff meetings.
We work within a 10 to 15 minutes radius of the office in Tromode, so no traveling all over the island!
