Tanya Anderson, who relocated to the Isle of Man from America in 2010 will be featured on Gardener's World this evening

Tanya Anderson relocated to the Isle of Man from America in 2010 and runs a popular blog, Lovely Greens which provides advice, inspiration and ideas about growing herbs, flowers and vegetables - and using them in beauty and home products, inspiring people to 'live simply, grow your own, make natural things'.

Tanya's beautiful allotment, in Laxey on the East coast of the Island, will be featured on BBC Gardeners World this evening (Wednesday) at 9pm. It is the first time that Gardener's World, the BBC's most prestigious gardening programme, have filmed in the Isle of Man. Presenter Frances Tophill visited the Laxey and Lonan Allotment to meet Tanya.

During 10 hours of filming, Tanya shared tips on growing plants for skincare and demonstrated how simply they can be added to a small garden. She also shared how beekeeping figures into making natural beauty and how to use plants and flowers to make beauty recipes.
