Conveyancing Assistant / Trainee

We are looking for a bright, motivated individual to join our property team as a Conveyancing Assistant/Trainee. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has just finished their A-Levels or someone with A level or equivalent qualifications seeking to retrain who wants to build a professional career within a dynamic office environment.

You’ll learn how property dealings work from start to finish across residential and commercial, get involved in land and property searches, with full on-the-job training. This is a real career path with excellent prospects – conveyancing is technical, interesting, and always in demand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with clients at an important stage of their lives whilst learning the legal process of buying and selling property. As part of this remit they will prepare documents and assist with property matters, supporting the team with administrative tasks and client communication. The idea is that they will be trained in order to work towards handling their own files as they progress. In addition, the role will also cover learning how to search legal titles in the Deeds Registry and Manx Museum.

The candidate would ideally be a recent school leaver (A-Level qualified) or equivalent who has a strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Confident written and verbal communication, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn is key to being successful in the property sector.

As no prior legal experience is required full training and support from a team of experienced professionals will be provided within a friendly and supportive team environment.
