Provide a quality service to our customers and deal with them in a professional and courteous way.
Achieve agreed objectives effectively within specified timescales.
Ensure health, safety and wellbeing is a priority in all that you do.
Install, test, connect, repair and maintain wiring on Manx Utilities assets and consumers premises.
Install, test, and disconnect all types of metering and recording equipment.
Remove and replace links and fuses on the LV network within authorisation level.
Drive vehicles safely and carry out road worthiness checks.
Maintain vehicle stock.
Participation in training to maintain or achieve necessary skills to undertake duties.
Undertake out of hours standby duties on a rota when required.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
Awareness and compliance with relevant health & safety / environmental legislation & Industry standards.
Understanding of the requirement for performance in accordance with our policies.
Team player and collaborative working / knowledge sharing.
Knowledge of the current addition BS 7671 wiring regulations.
Suitably experienced and trained to use appropriately and safely electrical testing equipment.
Able to engage with and respond to customers in a professional and courteous way.
Willing to undergo training to learn and develop knowledge and skills.
