Part Time Driver (Mon - Fri daytime)

Taste Buds is a family run catering company, providing delicious, high quality home cooked fresh foods and coffee from our friendly Douglas take away shop and delivered outside catering services.

We are seeking a personable driver to join our team. Your role will be to deliver food to our business customers in a small van in Douglas and walking any nearby deliveries. In between deliveries you will help out with any general jobs in the shop.

The role would be ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, getting out and about and who is looking for a very interesting part time job. Working hours to be mutually agreed are approx. Mon - Thurs 9.00 am – 1.30/2.00 pm and Fridays 8.00 am – 1.30/2.00 pm, approx. 23 – 25 per week. Additional hours maybe available by mutual agreement. This is a permanent, no split shifts, no weekends, no evenings, non-seasonal position.

The ideal candidate will be a sensible careful driver, happy talking with customers and who is physically fit as the role involves lifting and carrying. We operate in a professional business market and therefore you need to be smart, professional and clean in your appearance and be 100% reliable. For insurance purposes you need a full clean driving licence and be over the age of 25. We are a non-smoking food company and therefore all applicants are not allowed to smoke during working hours.
