Senior Infrastructure Engineer - 2888

We are currently supporting our client in the search for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Services to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional to take ownership of delivering cutting-edge cloud services within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

The Role:
As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, installing, and operating hardware and software technologies that support the full suite of cloud services. This includes IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, networking, security, and associated services across virtualisation platforms  and Azure Hub.

You’ll play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level infrastructures, often investigating, designing, deploying, and automating new technologies to meet evolving business needs. The role also involves close collaboration with customers to design and deliver robust, secure, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions.
Deliver IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, networking, and security services.
Manage and support virtualisation platforms and Azure Hub.
Investigate, design, and deploy new technologies in line with market trends.
Provide high-quality technical support and customer service.
Join the callout rota to provide out-of-hours cover, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Candidate Requirements:

Strong background in IT infrastructure
Expert knowledge of backup and replication technologies.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
High levels of accuracy, strong organisational and time management skills.
A passion for technology, learning, and continuous development.
