Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to assist our team of electricians, plumbers, and computer assembly technicians on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The successful candidate will play an essential support role in maintaining efficient site operations, handling materials, preparing work areas, and assisting with installations and basic assembly work.
Electrical & Plumbing Support.
Assist electricians and plumbers with installation of conduit, cable trays, pipework, and fixtures.
Transport, prepare, and organize tools, materials, and equipment as required.
Support cable pulling, containment installation, and general site setup.
Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, measuring, and fixing brackets or supports.
Maintain clean and safe work areas, ensuring compliance with site safety regulations.
Computer Assembly & Technical Assistance.
Assist with unpacking, mounting, and assembling IT hardware such as server racks, computer units, and related equipment.
Handle basic cable management for data and power systems under supervision.
Maintain inventory of components and ensure correct labelling and placement.
Provide support during system testing and equipment setup as instructed by technicians.
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a construction, mechanical, or electrical environment preferred.
Basic understanding of tools, site safety, and manual handling.
Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, or computer equipment assembly is advantageous.
Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks safely.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work to instruction with minimal supervision.



General Labouring Duties:
Load and unload deliveries, move materials, and dispose of waste responsibly.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
Support tradespeople and engineers with day-to-day tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
Follow instructions carefully and report any hazards, faults, or incidents immediately.
Primarily site-based, with occasional workshop or warehouse tasks.
May involve indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions.
Standard hours with occasional overtime or weekend work depending on project needs.
