We are looking for a full-time Community Pharmacy Assistant & Delivery Driver to support both our Kirk Michael and Onchan branches — two valued community pharmacies with close-knit teams. This is a unique role that blends reliable, friendly medicine delivery with customer-focused pharmacy work. If you enjoy variety in your day, take pride in supporting your local community, and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Each morning, you’ll begin your day at our Kirk Michael branch, collecting and delivering prescriptions to local patients using a company vehicle. As part of our care-in-the-community approach, you’ll also carry out informal welfare checks during your deliveries — helping to ensure our patients are not only receiving their medication, but also staying well. Your ability to communicate warmly, notice when something isn’t right, and respond appropriately will be a key part of your success in the role.

After completing your delivery run, you’ll travel to either the Kirk Michael or Onchan pharmacy (depending on the day) to support the wider pharmacy team. This includes transporting prescriptions and stock between the branches, serving customers, and working towards your formal qualification as a Medicines Counter Assistant. You’ll advise patients on over-the-counter medications and pharmacy services they can access, help maintain the shop floor and dispensary, and play an essential part in keeping things running smoothly.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a full, clean driving licence, strong time management skills, and a calm, friendly approach when interacting with patients — especially those who may be elderly or vulnerable. While experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or retail is a bonus, it’s not essential. What matters most is your ability to stay organised, communicate well, and genuinely care for the people you’re supporting. We’ll fully fund your required training and qualifications, and you’ll be supported every step of the way by our experienced pharmacy teams.

This is more than just a delivery job — it’s a trusted role at the heart of a growing community pharmacy. You’ll act as the key link between two branches, helping us maintain safe and efficient service across both locations.

In return, we offer a consistent work schedule, full training, and the chance to develop within a stable, supportive, and caring workplace. You’ll use a company vehicle for all deliveries, be trained and qualified at no cost to you, and have the opportunity to grow in both experience and responsibility as part of a team that values integrity, compassion, and initiative.

If you're ready to take on a meaningful, people-focused role that offers independence, variety, and the chance to build a career in pharmacy, we’d love to hear from you.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-15:00.
Applicants should email a copy of their CV along with a cover note about why they're suited for the role.
