Kella's is a community hub in the stunning setting of Port St Mary, where the food is incredible, the drinks are flowing, and the energy is contagious. But none of that happens without a fantastic team and a leader who makes sure our guests have the best time every time they walk through our doors. That's where you come in. We're looking for a Front-of-House Manager who is both a skilled leader and a passionate people-person. You'll be the face of our restaurant, responsible for making sure every guest has an exceptional experience, from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. You'll lead, mentor, and inspire our FOH crew to create a vibe that keeps people coming back for more.
What you’ll do:
Be a hospitality hero: You'll oversee all daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and an inviting atmosphere that makes guests feel like family.
Lead our rockstar team: You'll hire, train, and manage our FOH crew—including servers, hosts, and bartenders—to maintain our high standards of service.
Solve problems like a pro: From tricky reservations to guest concerns, you'll be the go-to person for finding quick, effective solutions with a cool head and a great attitude.
Keep it fresh: You'll create and manage staff schedules, manage inventory, and make sure our dining room always looks its best.
Connect the dots: You’ll be the bridge between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring clear communication and a seamless guest experience.
Set the tone: Your enthusiasm and commitment to great service will be contagious, motivating the team and setting a positive, upbeat workplace culture.
What we're looking for:
Experience: You have a few years of experience in a customer service or management role, and you know your way around a busy restaurant floor.
People skills: You love interacting with people and have a knack for building relationships with both guests and staff.
Cool under pressure: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle unexpected challenges without breaking a sweat.
Organized and detail-oriented: You can juggle a lot of different tasks, from scheduling to inventory, and keep everything running smoothly.
Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable with POS systems and scheduling software.
