Internal Communications Executive - 2926

We are seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to lead and deliver effective communication across a large public-sector organisation. The role ensures that employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with organisational goals. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an internal communications strategy that supports organisational objectives and strengthens employee engagement.

Deliver a consistent schedule of clear, engaging internal communications across the organisation.

Ensure accurate and timely messaging to influence and inform colleagues.

Manage and optimise internal communication channels and platforms.

Work with senior leaders and departmental teams to coordinate messaging and provide expert communications advice.

Support internal campaigns that promote organisational values, culture, and major initiatives.

Provide clear communication during organisational changes or crisis situations.

Monitor communication effectiveness and provide insights to improve engagement.

Identify emerging issues that may impact internal communications and recommend actions.

Contribute to cross-organisational projects and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Develop creative approaches to improve reach and engagement.

Additional Expectations:

Represent the organisation in meetings, working groups, and events as required.

Support wider strategic communications to ensure alignment across departments.

While the role has no direct reports, the post holder may support colleagues in improving communication skills and understanding best practices.
