Our client seeks a qualified and experienced Audit Senior to join their team. Role Profile: As an Audit Senior, you will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of audit fundamentals and capability to lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for preparing high quality deliverables for managerial review, whilst maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead audit engagements independently, including planning, fieldwork, and completion stages; Prepare and review financial statements and audit documentation: Conduct audit and assurance reviews across a range of sectors and client sizes: Review audit files to ensure quality and adherence to professional standards: Analyse financial data, examine company accounts, and evaluate financial control systems: Liaise directly with clients to address queries, provide updates, and ensure a smooth audit process: Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing responsibilities and maintaining clear communication with managers: Oversee and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback throughout the audit process: Key Skills and Experience: ACA or ACCA Qualified; Proven audit experience is required; Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards; Great attention to detail; Good communication, both written and verbal: Ability to work independently and to strict deadlines: Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously.
