The contracted hours for this role are- Monday to Thursday 8am –5pm, Friday 8am- 3pm and Saturday 8am – 12noon (on Rota).
The Job:
Are you an experienced HGV Driver (Class ‘C’) with a strong safety record and a passion for excellent service? At MacBlair Douglas, you’ll work alongside a supportive team, delivering building materials and providing outstanding customer service. Your role will include:
Assembling orders for delivery.
Assisting with loading company vehicles.
Supporting our branch network and suppliers.
Maintaining general housekeeping standards.
Taking on other duties as requested by your Manager or Supervisor.
Some manual handling is involved, but we’re happy to make reasonable adjustments to support your needs.

You:
Our customers value friendly, reliable service. We’re looking for a team player who is resourceful, enthusiastic, and able to collaborate effectively. A full UK driving licence (Class C) is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not required—full training will be provided. If you have product knowledge or a genuine interest in Construction and DIY, that’s a plus!
