New Earth Construction Ltd is a growing Isle of Man–based contractor delivering residential and small commercial projects across the Island.
We are seeking an experienced Site / Contracts Manager to take operational responsibility for 4–6 live sites simultaneously. None of the sites individually warrant a full-time site manager; however, collectively they require strong coordination, planning, and leadership.
This role is a starting position within the business, with a clear opportunity to progress into a senior operational role as the company continues to grow. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director to help develop and embed systems, procedures, and best practice across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee 4–6 concurrent residential and small commercial projects.
Plan, sequence, and coordinate labour and subcontractors across sites.
Carry out regular site visits, inspections, and progress checks.
Monitor programmes and address any delays promptly.
Manage material ordering, deliveries, and site logistics.
Ensure high standards of health & safety compliance.
Maintain quality control and manage snagging through to completion.
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Provide clear weekly reporting on progress, risks, and site performance.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in a Site Manager, Contracts Manager, or Senior Foreman role.
Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of residential construction and refurbishment works.
Ability to manage direct labour and subcontractors effectively.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Full driving licence.
Desirable:
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
First Aid at Work.
Experience helping develop or implement site systems and procedures.
