Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in Isle of man. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks related to plumbing and or electrical systems. The role also includes supporting other building services maintenance duties and assisting with general facility upkeep to ensure operational efficiency and safety in compliance with regulations.
Key Requirements:
Must be an isle of man resident.
Recognised plumbing/electrical qualifications and proven hands-on experience in plumbing and or electrical systems, maintenance, and repairs desired.
Experience in building services and facilities management, with additional skills in electrical or fabric maintenance considered an advantage.
Ability to carry out minor reactive tasks including plumbing and or electrical repairs and general building maintenance.
Experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing permitted works.
Competent in record keeping, folder management, and using CAFM systems.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and handheld maintenance scheduling tools.
Familiarity with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, including:
TMV servicing and testing.
L8 compliance and water hygiene tasks.
AHU servicing.
Emergency light testing.
Role Overview:
Responsible for day-to-day plumbing/ and or electrical and M&E maintenance across 4 client sites.
Ensure compliance with statutory testing and maintenance schedules, particularly water hygiene, emergency light testing and plumbing systems.
Liaise with contractors and supply partners to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
Represent CBRE in client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Maintain pride in delivering outstanding outcomes with a customer-centric approach.
Additional Information:
Working Hours: 40 hours weekly.
Overtime: OOH – x 1.5 including Saturdays. X 2 Sundays / Bank Holidays.
Annual Leave: 25 Days and all isle of man bank holidays.
