5 or more years’ experience in a senior systems administration or infrastructure engineering role; Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure, including enterprise or service provider compute, storage and hardware platforms, operating systems, virtualisation and security devices, with an understanding of lifecycle, performance and capacity management.
Expert knowledge of backup, replication and disaster recovery technologies (e.g. Veeam, Zerto or equivalent).
Professional level qualifications across multiple disciplines such as VCP, MCSE, CCNP (or equivalent in major virtualisation platforms).
Proven background of providing great customer service.
To drive the role forward, the individual will be responsible for architecting, installing and operating hardware and software technologies hosting Sure’s cloud services. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Sure’s cloud suite comprising IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, network, security and associated services across virtualisation platforms and cloud stacks (including VMware, Nutanix AHV, HPE VME, KVM-based platforms or equivalent) and Azure Hub. Within an evolving technology and cloud services market place, the successful candidate will often investigate, design, deploy and automate new technologies, providing for current and future needs.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our customers to design and deliver complex, enterprise level infrastructures that integrate and leverage Sure’s solutions.
