Braddan District Commissioners are currently recruiting for a Parish Maintenance Assistant/Leisure Assistant. The role has a dual function with work being carried out within the local community and at the Roundhouse. General Maintenance duties in the community include; General cleaning and maintenance of the Parish Halls and flats at Mullen Doway; General Playground maintenance; emptying litter bins and maintaining bus shelters. Duties undertaken at the Roundhouse will include; General housekeeping duties; Health and safety duties and site security. Applicants are required to be physically fit, be able to carry out manual handling operations and be will to work outside in all weather conditions. A full clean driving licence is essential. A successful DBS and Occupational Health check are required on condition of appointment. Applicants should possess good verbal/written communication skills and be able to provide an excellent level of customer service to the public.
