As our claims team continues to grow, we are pleased to recruit a Claims Handler into this newly created role. We are looking for someone with strong customer service experience, which is essential for success in the position. Experience in General Insurance is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The role requires clear and empathetic communication with customers by phone and email, the ability to work in a supportive and respectful team environment, and confidence in managing cases accurately while following agreed processes. Good computer literacy and a willingness to learn are also important.
You will receive full training and support in the role, and you will be required to study toward a relevant professional qualification. We will provide the time, resources and funding to help you succeed, along with support from the team throughout your development.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, a performance-related bonus, 25 days’ holiday plus 10 bank holidays with the option to buy or sell leave, an employer pension contribution of 9 percent with a further 2 percent available through matching, life assurance, private medical insurance, a Sharesave scheme, and a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued.
This is a full-time position based in our Douglas office, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
