Administrator / Trainee Accountant

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator/Trainee Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations, supporting staff, ensuring accurate record keeping, the timely processing of transactions ensuring the ongoing efficient workflow of the team and company.
This role is vital for the smooth and effective operation of the organisation. Whilst taking on board the day to day administrative duties we are looking to expand the candidate’s knowledge for growth in their individual learning within the accounting environment. Ideally embarking on book-keeping/accountancy courses and gaining relevant qualifications, which the company is happy to support.
There will be a varied workload such as maintaining filing (digital & physical), email/mail correspondence with staff members and clients, meeting & greeting of clients, supplies/stationery control, accurate inputting of data (sales & purchase invoices), reconciling of bank statements, assist with the on-boarding of new clients including collating and recording of compliance documentation, payroll support, assisting with marketing & social media platforms.
Following successful probationary/initial learning period will then include other tasks such as accounts work, personal and company tax, VAT, payroll, audit support, preparation & filing of statutory forms/returns and compliance services to a wide breadth of clients, who are predominantly locally based.
