Front of House/Cafe Assistant

We’re looking for an experienced, confident Front of House team member to join our busy café in Douglas.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love great coffee, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team – this could be for you.
What you’ll be doing-
Preparing and serving our award-winning coffee
Working front of house at Gourmet Shakes
Taking orders and delivering great customer service
Running food and clearing tables
Maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
Assisting with Manx Moos ice cream (including labelling tubs)
Supporting light ice cream production when required
About the role:
This is a varied, hands-on position – no two days are the same. You’ll need to be comfortable switching between tasks and keeping standards high at all times.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy front of house role
Barista experience is essential
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Friendly, reliable, and confident with customers
