The Manx Family Centre based at Nobles Hall Westmoreland Road Douglas is committed to providing services to the Islands Community for all ages through books, events and initiatives.
We are looking for a special person to join our team and help us expand the mobile services that are presently provided.
Excellent written and verbal skills with emphasis on accuracy. Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal communication skills with all sectors of the public. Excellent computer skills re use of excel, word and the internet. Able to be motivated enough to work alone in accordance with training and procedures but most importantly work as a member of a close-knit team. Clean driving licence and DBS check as well as the relevant Work Permit if applicable.
Previous librarian skills would be an advantage, but full training will be given.
