Our client seeks a Business Analyst to join their team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. You will be part of a collaborative team that values fresh ideas, continuous improvement, and the power of great analysis. In this role, you'll help shape smarter processes and deliver solutions that truly make a difference. Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions. Document functional and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques (e.g., user stories, use cases, process maps). Analyse data, workflows, and system behaviour to define the 'as is'; and 'to be' state. Map and model business processes using BPMN or other standards. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements aligned with business strategy. Support development of new processes, policies, and operating models. Work closely with 3rd Parties to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs. Validate solution design and assess impacts on people, processes, and systems. Support creation of acceptance criteria and test scenarios. Collaborate with other Change members and SMEs to ensure successful delivery. Support user acceptance testing, training, and readiness activities. Contribute to business cases, benefits mapping, and prioritisation discussions. Ensure alignment and traceability from requirements through to implemented solutions. Key Skills & Experience: 3-5+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role. Business Analysis certifications (e.g., IIBA ECBA/CCBA/CBAP, BCS BA Certificates) would be desirable but not essential. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) ideally. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to translate business problems into clear requirements. Experience with requirements elicitation techniques. Proficiency in process mapping and modelling tools. Strong communication and facilitation skills. Data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.). Knowledge of Change Management principles would be desirable.
