The Service Advisor at Ocean Motor Village acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop, delivering a professional and efficient aftersales experience. The role involves greeting customers, accurately recording vehicle details and service requirements, and coordinating bookings for servicing and repairs. The Service Advisor liaises closely with technicians to ensure work is completed on time, communicates clearly with customers regarding required work, costs, and timeframes, and keeps them updated throughout the process. Responsibilities also include preparing job cards and invoices, maintaining accurate records using dealership systems, and identifying opportunities to upsell additional services where appropriate. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, previous customer service experience within the motor trade (preferred), a basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-focused and professional approach.
