Role Profile: We are seeking an experienced Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer to provide specialist support to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer in implementing appropriate frameworks, standards, and processes for compliant business operations. This senior compliance role offers the unique opportunity to protect the organisation from regulatory sanctions while supporting their competitive position in the market. The successful candidate will support the effective discharge of the firm's obligations under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2008, the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Code 2019, and related AML/CFT legislation. As an alternate MLRO, you must be capable of assuming full MLRO responsibilities when required, including deputising in representations with the Financial Services Authority. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist support to the MLRO in designing and maintaining effective AML/CFT frameworks, standards, and processes. Protect the organisation from operational losses, regulatory sanctions, fines, and reputational damage. Support the effective discharge of statutory obligations under relevant AML/CFT legislation and guidance. Act as alternate to the MLRO with capability to assume full MLRO responsibilities when required. Deputise for the MLRO in representing the firm with the Financial Services Authority and other stakeholders. Implement robust compliance frameworks to ensure business operations meet regulatory requirements.
