This is a challenging new role for someone looking to get involved in all aspects of the business supporting the managers. You will be answering phone queries and taking reservations, collating wine orders, stocking and merchandising the shop and waiting on tables. It is a very varied role and no two days will be the same. A professional and confident telephone manner is desirable. You need to have lots of energy and be fit and healthy as there is an element of physical work when putting wine orders away. A cheerful, willing, hardworking and positive character is more important than experience as is the ability to work calmly under pressure.
An interest in wine and a full clean driving licence would also be an advantage.
