About Us:
We are one of the Isle of Man’s leading automotive dealerships delivering an outstanding ownership experience to our customers across the island. Our team is built on trust, professionalism, and a genuine passion for all things automotive, and we are now looking to expand that team with the addition of a talented and driven Car Salesperson.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our busy sales floor and become a key part of our customer-facing team. As a Car Salesperson, you will be responsible for guiding customers through every stage of their vehicle purchase, from the initial enquiry and showroom visit right through to handover and beyond. You will develop lasting relationships with both new and returning customers, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards our dealership is known for.
Day to day, you will be meeting and greeting customers, understanding their needs, presenting and demonstrating the vehicles, preparing finance proposals, and negotiating sales in a professional and transparent manner. You will also be expected to manage your own customer pipeline, follow up on leads, and work towards individual and team sales targets. Full product training will be provided, so while knowledge of vehicles is an advantage, it is certainly not essential.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone with a natural flair for sales and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with people. Previous experience in automotive retail is desirable, but we welcome applications from candidates who have a strong background in any customer-facing or target-driven sales environment. What matters most to us is attitude, energy, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience every time.
You will need to be an excellent communicator who can build rapport quickly, listen carefully to what customers want, and present solutions with confidence and clarity. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively are also important, as is a proactive approach to generating and following up on sales opportunities. A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.
